Carbonite Offer Code That Really Works!


Every time you make an online purchase, there at the checkout is that box: “offer code” or “promo code”.    Never fails, I then begin a search to find said offer code.   I’ll spend fifteen to twenty minutes, combing the internet looking for savings.  It’s usually pretty easy to find a promo code, however it seems about 90% of the time they don’t work.  

I’ve seen on several talk shows that you should never pay full price when there is a box to put a discount code.  They make it sound so easy though – just find the code and get the savings.  I always give it a try and it usually ends in frustration.  Even RetailMeNot, which allows users to leave feedback if an offer code worked for them, rarely is successful for me.

Thou shall not hide from Debt

A lot of the citizens of America have debt secrets.  As much as we thought that we will just use credit cards during emergency, we have come to use it every day.  The end result would be being faced with financial problems due to overspending. 

When we are swiping our card, our mindset is not to pay the entire amount that we spent in full.  The balance of our credit card debt keeps on increasing until we have maxed out our cards already.  Interest or financial charges could really hurt our budgets and our pockets.  It would be quite hard to admit that you were not responsible enough to handle your finances.

When you are faced with a list of expenses like utility bills, food, mortgage and credit card debt; you will end up prioritizing the others over paying the amount due in your card since there isn’t much direct impact to you and your family if you do not pay it.  You’d rather spend the money you have on hand for grocery than to pay the minimum amount due for your card if you do not have a lot of cash left to spend in your budget.  Later on, you will find yourself with a bad credit score and with collectors haunting you and calling your mobile phone wherever you are.

With people losing their jobs this is a common scenario right now.  It will not help at all to disregard your debt.  It will not help to be penalized with late payment fees every month.  It will not help to hide from your debt and disregard the calls from your bank by not picking up the phone or by changing your number.

If there is one thing to remember, you need to call your bank and make the first move to let them know your situation.  They should be your ally and not your enemy.  Expect them to understand and they will surely meet you half way.
